Hawthorn Park School and Nursery Unit welcome children of all abilities regardless of race, creed, colour, gender or disability.

Visits are encouraged. Applications for a place can be made at any time. Children are admitted from the waiting list chronologically, according to our Admissions Policy. Children are allocated a part-time morning or afternoon place in the Nursery.

In September after their fourth birthday the children transfer to the Four Plus Unit.

A special visiting morning or afternoon is arranged for all the new children and their parents every Summer in June or July. This applies to the Four Plus Unit and to the Nursery. If new children start in the Nursery at another time, they are given a special visit usually in the term before they start.
